The song “You’re going to jail and your car is too” is a true story. One evening after slinging hash at his “chef” job Chef Chris was pulled over after pulling out of the parking structure down in Birmingham and after the cop did some investigating he found the notorious Chef Chris had several unpaid driving tickets so many that it was necessary to throw the Chef and his car (a monkey shit brown 1983 OLDS Toronado) into jail. The Chef went to the Oakland County Jail; his car went to some impound lot on the south end of the State.

The album was recorded live at Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak MI. It is considered a bootleg album because it is a straight off the board mix. This CD wasn’t mastered, mixed, or dubbed. What you have hear is a snapshot of a typical Chef Chris and his Nairobi Trio performance.
